At F&W we maintain that a good company is built upon the foundation of its people. President of F&W Management, Charles C. Nimmo, has been the backbone of the company since 1981.

Director Jim Deyerle, a Roanoke native, with 15 years experience in both commercial and residential real estate, has brokered and managed commercial properties from Florida to New Jersey for office, retail and industrial clients. He currently sits on the Legislative Committee for the Roanoke Valley Board of Realtors and the Downtown Roanoke Commercial Retail Committee in association with Roanoke Outlook Plan and Downtown Roanoke, Inc.

Karen Garst, Assistant to the Director, is a native of Roanoke and a 1982 graduate of Virginia Tech. She joined F&W Management in 1983 and has served the company in several capacities, including Resident Manager, Marketing Specialist, and Property Manager. Karen obtained her Virginia Real Estate License in 1997, and joined the Real Estate Group in 2000.

Paula Mangus, Property and Executive Assistant to the President, joined F&W in October 2000. Paula brings 10 years experience in commercial and residential real estate to the group, and also serves as lease administrator for our commercial portfolio. She holds a Virginia real estate license.
